Michael Morpurgo, author of War Horse and Joey the horse from the stage play of the same name, who is currently performing in the National Theatre’s play, today (Sunday, 19th October 2014) visited the Tower of London Remembers “Blood Swept lands and Seas of Red”. The Installation by artists Paul Cummins and Tom Piper comprises of 888,246 ceramic poppies representing British and Colonial military deaths during the first world war and will be inlace until November 11th.
