Private Ernest Worcester

Ernest was born in 1894 at Streatham to Maurice and Mary Worcester. Maurice worked as a market gardener.

Ernest enlisted into the 6th Battalion of the letters to Leicestershire Regiment at Dorking. At the time of enlisting he was living in Capel.

Ernest was killed in action on the 24th of March 1918. He has no known grave. His name is inscribed on the Pozieres Memorial in France.
