Frank was born in Dorking in 1899, the son of Frank, a house painter and Rebecca.
In 1901, the family were living at 78, Orchard Road. In 1911, the family were still in Orchard Road, but Rebecca had died. Frank attended the Dorking British School.
Frank enlisted in Dorking into the 12th Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment; G/16987
He died of wounds on 18th January 1918 in Flanders aged 19, and is buried in Mendingham Military Cemetery. IX.C.27
