Frederick was born in Capel in 1997, the fifth child of George and Elizabeth Lintott, living at Duncroft. George was employed as a Farmer.
Frederick enlisted at Horsham into the 9th Battalion of The Royal Sussex Regiment.
He died of his wounds on the 8th of April, 1916. He is buried in Bailleul Communal Cemetery in France.
